Sixteen injured in accident on KMI Airport road

An accident involving one taxi on the R538 near the Tekwane North T-junction resulted in injuries to 16 individuals, according to Martin Jeffrey, an Emer-G-Med paramedic.

An accident occurred on the R538 (KMI Airport road) at the Tekwane North T-junction on Monday, May 13.

According to Martin Jeffrey, an Emer-G-Med paramedic, a taxi was involved in the accident.

He said one individual sustained serious injuries, three others moderate injuries, and 12 people suffered only minor injuries.

He said that Emer-G-Med transported the individuals to Rob Ferreira and Themba hospitals.

The cause of the accident is not yet known.
