Lowvelders gather for community stalwart’s memorial service

The community has come out in their numbers to pay their respects to the late Ayanda Maphalala Ngobeni.

Lowvelders came out in their numbers to pay their respects to Ayanda Maphalala Ngobeni at har memorial service at Church on the Hill outside Mbombela today, October 25.

Bikers and marathon club members from all across Mpumalanga are in attendance. Messages of comfort are pouring in for the family.

Maphalala Ngobeni was shot and killed in a double murder on the N4 towards Middelburg on Sunday, October 20.

She is described as a strong woman who stood her ground and was full of life. She had a passion for the City of Mbombela Marathon Club of which she was the deputy secretary.

The church is packed to the rafters with the people who love her.
