While wet weather descended on Mbombela on the day of the final SPAR Christmas Carols Like No Other event, nothing could stop the Christmas spirit from warming up shoppers’ hearts.

The SPAR festive crew has been on the road since the first instalment was held at Steiltes SPAR on December 13. Each individual event has featured live music, Christmas carols, face painting, a special Christmas photo booth, and a variety of prizes to be won.

The event at The Grove SUPERSPAR on December 20 was the eighth and final event of the series, and proved to be a fitting conclusion. Stix Dumisa and Reshen Nkala were at their musical best yet again, adding a special festive touch to each person’s shopping experience at The Grove SUPERSPAR.

Shoppers also had the chance to enter the grand prize competition by doing some shopping in-store and dropping their receipt into the box when exiting the store. As with every other occasion, there was a draw held at the end of the event, and the lucky winner on this occasion was Carol Nxumalo.
