Joubert is currently behind bars for her alleged involvement in the murder of Jurgens Nel more than two weeks ago.
A storm erupted around Tswale’s head last year when the owners of the farm, Shofeeds, of Parys in the Free State, was granted an interdict that the elephant must be removed. Joubert was also ordered not to allow any human interaction, which was mainly done by allowing groups of visitors visiting the farm.
