Business meets the bowling green in Mbombela
The guests and members enjoyed the day while playing the game and learning from each other.
The South African Council for Business Women (SACBW) Nelspruit held their monthly meeting at Lowveld Country Club (LVCC) on May 8. The May event saw members playing bowls while networking on the greens. These businesswomen and members of SACBW Nelspruit meet once a month to support one another’s businesses as much as possible, to help each one grow.

Blessing Sunday, the SACBW Nelspruit’s local business leader, said the event was a great success and everyone enjoyed themselves.
“We chose bowling because it is a friendly game that we can all play together. With this kind of game we were able to relax and loosen up. As it is Mother’s Day month we decided on this since most of the women are mothers who are always busy. We wanted to meet in a relaxed atmosphere.”
After the games they all shared a meal and continued to network.
Sunday said they have great events planned for the months ahead. “We have a number of projects planned, including a youth event in June aimed at empowering young people, and a Mandela Day event planned for July.”
