Two guests injured in road accident in Kruger National Park

The driver lost control of the vehicle, which veered off a bridge inside the park.

Two guests were reportedly injured when their vehicle veered off a bridge while leaving Kruger National Park on Sunday.

Speed is being investigated as a possible cause of the accident at the Letaba low-water bridge.

South African National Parks confirmed the incident, which resulted in injuries.

“Should speed be confirmed as a contributing factor, appropriate measures will be taken,” SANParks said.

The organisation reminded guests to plan their journeys with enough time to ensure a safe and unhurried departure.

“Unpredictable factors such as wildlife crossings or temporary road delays should be considered to ensure a safe and unhurried departure,” the statement read.
