IN PHOTOS: Boktown united green and gold supporters in Mbombela

Although the Boks failed to steal a win, the good vibes at Boktown made up for it.

Although the Springboks failed to steal a win from the Aussies on Saturday, August 16, the green and gold fever at Boktown in the Lowveld National Botanical Garden made up for it. Supporters arrived in their Springbok jerseys and enjoyed the cool breeze under the beautiful trees to listen to music from SA’s best artists.

Martin Bester and Band opened the festivities with classic and original songs to get the crowd going. Majozi followed shortly after and performed his sing-along pop hits. Loufi got the crowd on their feet and raised the energy before kick-off time and performed his “Bokke” song to get supporters ready for the much-anticipated match.

Supporters experienced highs and lows during the game, but ended the day with a lively performance by Afrikaans alternative rock band, Spoegwolf.
