A pedestrian was killed and several others were injured on Tuesday, November 25, when a minibus taxi transporting students from the University of Limpopo to Nkomazi lost control and crashed into a wall.

He confirmed that the taxi was transporting students to different areas within the Nkomazi Local Municipality, where they are believed to reside.
While the majority of the taxi’s passengers sustained moderate injuries, only three individuals, including the driver, sustained serious injuries. All injured parties were rushed to the nearest hospitals for further medical care.
Mmusi wished all injured parties a speedy recovery and sent a message of condolences to the family of the deceased.
He urged motorists to always drive with caution. “I am urging to those operating public transport to always drive with caution on the roads. When they are tired they must rest, because they are not only endangering themselves but the people that they are transporting,” he advised.
