Divergent Ops brings joy to Lowveld children community

The idea for the drive was initiated by the Divergent Ops Lady of the Year, Alicia Whitting.

Divergent Ops made many children’s Christmas wishes come true on Friday, December 5, when they delivered donations to orphanages, schools and townships in the area.

It was the company’s first-ever children’s drive and an initiative brought forward by the Divergent Ops Lady of the Year, Alicia Whitting.

“We hope to enable children to learn how to read and write and give them a brighter future,” Whitting said.

The children’s faces lit up as the cars stopped to drop off new school supplies, delicious treats and toys. Many sponsors such as Feed the Need, shopping centres and locals also put in an effort to make the day a reality.
