Police seek family of teenage boy found near Bushbuckridge

Mhala SAPS is seeking help to locate the family of a 13-year-old boy, found alone near Thulamahashe, Bushbuckridge.

The Mhala SAPS is urgently appealing to the community for assistance in locating the parents or guardians of Bonie Mashego (13), who was found wandering alone in the New Forest area near Thulamahashe, Bushbuckridge.

Bonie was brought to Acornhoek Police Station by a concerned community member.

According to information received, Bonie is originally from Lenyenye in Limpopo. He was visiting his brother in Thulamahashe, and his mother is believed to be Sally Mashego.

Anyone who recognises him or has information that may assist in tracing his parents or relatives is requested to contact the Mhala SAPS on 079 396 4587 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Information may also be submitted via the My SAPS app. Callers may opt to remain anonymous, and all information received will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
