Klipspringer spotted at De Hallen Centre in Mbombela

Mbombela’s bushveld spills into the streets, where a klipspringer made an unexpected morning cameo in Ferreira Street.

There is no place like Mbombela. And no, this is not an AI-generated photo – it really is a klipspringer photographed by Heinrich Human in Ferreira Street, in front of the De Hallen Centre, yesterday morning, February 24.

Human, a Steiltes resident, was on his way to Bateleur when he spotted the animal.

“I saw him standing in the street and luckily he hopped back into the nearby vlei,” Human said.

Mbombela is home to a variety of antelope and small wildlife that inhabit the surrounding bushveld, making the town a uniquely wild place to live.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
