Herd of Kaapsehoop wild horses found after sudden disappearance

The Kaapschehoop Conservancy has located the seven missing horses, now including a new foal.

The Kaapschehoop Conservancy found the herd that had been missing since the end of March earlier today, May 1.
The conservancy said the seven horses had moved far from their usual grazing area, prompting an intense search.

The organisation also reported that a new foal has joined the herd.
Prior to locating the horses, the conservancy had issued an appeal to the public for assistance. The herd consists of a stallion, three mares, two fillies and a colt.

A R5 000 reward had also been offered for information about their whereabouts.
The organisation thanked the community for its assistance.
The public is urged not to interact with, touch or feed the horses.
