Sudwala kidnapping case postponed to tomorrow

The kidnapping case against Van Rooi Tsatsie was postponed in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court due to his attorney’s unavailability.

Van Rooi Mthobi Tsatsie, who was charged with kidnapping last week after three burnt bodies were found along the R535 between Hazyview and Graskop, appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court today, May 4.

According to Monica Nyuswa, spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority, the case was postponed to tomorrow, May 5, as his attorney was unavailable.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane previously reported that Tsatsie had pointed out the location where the three bodies were discovered.

He was subsequently brought in for questioning and later arrested.

The bodies have not yet been identified, and police are awaiting DNA results to determine whether they belong to three people who were kidnapped in Sudwala.
