Nelspruit court grants physiotherapist bail on alleged rape of 16-year-old girl

A well-known Mbombela physiotherapist accused of raping a 16-year-old girl was granted R2 000 bail on Friday, September 18.
The accused, who cannot be named because he has not yet pleaded and the case involves a minor, appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court.

He applied for bail through Advocate Du Plessis.
The matter was heard by Magistrate Patric Morris, who initially reserved judgment on the bail application but later delivered his ruling.
Magistrate Morris granted the accused bail and set his next court appearance for October 15, pending further investigation.
