En toe verloor ek dit soos ‘n dame wat goed opgevoed is – buite die gebou.

I ‘lost it’ this morning. At SARS Mbombela.
Here’s why, as explained on my Facebook account:
“I arrived at SARS months ago to correct the following mistakes on my SARS profile:
1) My marriage status was listed as “married out of community of property.” Truth is I’ve never been married.
2) My bank account details were outdated. It took more than three hours. An assistant seemingly updated my details.
It has since transpired that my details were never updated. Today, I attempted to figure out what went wrong. Employees say they “don’t know what happened. The system sometimes glitches, yet they do not have the time to verify whether updates have been stored successfully.” By George… How useless ARE you?! Do you know that I and other taxpayers pay your salary?! And who is responsible for creating a system that doesn’t work properly?! Anyway… I have to go back a fourth time… When I stop fuming from anger, I may consider it.”
