United FC are rookies but they have a quality team
MABOCHA – Local soccer club, United FC are the favourites to lift the community’s weekly tournament. The games will be played at Bakgoga sports grounds on September 29. Locals are anticipating a feast of soccer matches as four local teams will lock horns at the bumpy sports ground in Mapareng.

The defending champions for the tournament are Shoeshine FC who are comprised by a vastly experienced squad, led by veteran, Goliath Pele Mohlala and dribbling wizard, Pushy Makine.
Pushy believes his team won’t disappoint, “Come Sunday, our team will be taking home the winner’s medal. We want to prove our team is the best.”
The tourney will include four teams from the village that are pitted against each other in the first round. The winners will play in the finals. They will take R3000 home.
