Crowd favourites, Team Swazi, had the crowd begging for more with their daring spinning skills such as alighting spinning vehicles, spinning in minimum visibility, hanging from a spinning vehicle, and spinning side-by-side.
Ncamiso Sibiya, who is a police officer by profession and spins for a crew from Lukwathini, said spinning was about the thrill and fun.
He considers spinning as a sport but advises it should not be attempted in an unsecured area where people are too close to the action, and should be kept of the streets.
“It is exciting and thrilling to control a car which is on the verge of spinning out of control.
It takes skill to spin within a set perimeter and avoid hitting the sides, this for me is another form of sport.
It just needs to be kept of the streets and should take place on a secure and designated spinning track, because turning too late might be fatal,” Sibiya said.
As for lovers of this sport, it is always special to watching the sport and is well-worth spending money on.
