The Ford Dealer 400 cross-country event that took place in Bloemfontein from October 11 to 12, was another fantastic weekend for brothers Johan and Werner Horn of Malalane Toyota.
In Friday’s prologue they set the pace in class D with their Toyota Land Cruiser. They were followed home by Jason Venter and Vincent van Allemann from 4×4 Megaworld. It was a dramatic event with bush fires forcing race officials to alter the route several times.
The dry and dusty conditions along with a puncture, didn’t hamper the brothers from clinching a nine-second win in Saturday’s race over Venter and Allemann.
This was their fourth win out of seven events this year and their third in a row! The final round of the Donaldson Championship is the Atlas Copco 400 will take place in Westonaria from November 22 to 23.
