Sivutsa Stars to hunt down Leopards
The National First Division campaigners, Sivutsa Stars have a hunting date with the former Premier Soccer League campaigners, Black Leopards on Saturday, at the KaBokweni Stadium.

Coming from a great weekend where both teams produced desired
results since Stars settled for a goalless draw against Maluti FET College in
the Free State, while Leopards thrashed Thanda Royal Zulu by 2-1 at home, this
weekend’s battle will be a hard one for both teams as they are both tactically
impressive.
“We have played against Leopards before and we know their style,
but we are not going to let our past encounters with them cloud our judgement.
We are planning for this clash in the same manner in which we always plan for
all our games,” said Stars’ PRO Charles Nkosi. Currently hogging the 8th
position, Black Leopards’ record isn’t all that, since they have only registered
two victories of their eight outings, and are now in desperate need to start
collecting points if they are to be promoted back to the PSL. On the other hand,
Stars are yet to register more victories, especially at home and Nkosi said they
are looking to do exactly that on Saturday, but also hinted that they are not
going to underestimate them.
“The fact that they are on position eight proves
that they play well and are not to be taken lightly.
We are going to throw
everything we have at them to ensure that we keep those three points here,” said
Nkosi. He then appealed for more support, arguing that the team represents the
entire region and if they are to gain promotion to the PSL, they will remain
here and continue to fly the provincial flag high. Kick-off is at 15:30.
