Hot interhouse cricket action on the pitch
Penryn College held their annual interhouse cricket on Tuesday and Thursday.

The last match will be played on Monday November 11. The format for the seniors is eight a side and for the juniors six a side. Each player gets to bowl an over and a wide counts for two runs. If they bowl a no-ball, a free hit is awarded. Batsmen are retired at 25 runs. “The emphasis is on fun and participation, giving each player an opportunity to get involved,” said sports coordinator of Penryn Prep, Saranne Lourens. Bateleur (red) beat Lanner (green) by 80 runs as they could only get 55 runs. Osprey (blue) took on Peregrine (yellow) and managed to win by 14. The Lanner seniors also managed to beat Bateleur, but Osprey could not pull through and lost against Peregrine.
