A day on the tees benefits needy
To play golf for fun is a most rewarding feeling, especially when you do it for a needy human being.
The superb golf course of Sabi River Sun Resort set the
picturesque venue for 96 players to compete in the annual Sizabantwana Golf Day
on November 9. All the funds will be donated to the orphaned and vulnerable
children of Sizabantwana in the Mariti area near Hazyview. The first golfers
teed off at 07:45 and competitors battled it out until after 18:00. The event
was ended with a fun-filled prize-giving at the clubhouse.
Ten boys of
Sizabantwana, had the opportunity to accompany the caddies and players on the
course.
Thanks to all the sponsors and Friends of Sizabantwana who
contributed towards this day. The sponsored hole went to the Tooth Fairies of
