As the run towards the last 64 of the TSB Selati Cup continues, 20 teams were knocked out of the tournament last weekend.

Eight matches were played on Saturday at two stadiums, KaMaqhekeza and Langeloop.
On Saturday morning at KaMaqhekeza, Block C Hungry Lions secured a narrow 1-0 victory over KaMaqhekeza

On the same day at Langeloop, KaMaqhekeza PJ Stars and Schoemansdal Polar Arsenal, were matched to a one-all

Pirates were fortunate to find the back of the net in the penalty shoot-out, to go into the next round with a 4-1 victory.
After going two goals down in the first half and chasing the game for both the first and second half, time was
against Gomba FC Galaxy when they failed to go into the next leg of the tournament, despite scoring two late goals. Former Selati Cup champions Jeppes Shongwe Chiefs defeated them 3-2.
On Sunday morning Skhwahlane Young Tigers were set on making an impact when they shattered Mangweni Stone Breakers’ Selati Cup dreams with a 5-1 victory, while Jeppe’s Saints and Dludluma Young Chiefs matched each other to a two-all draw, and finally Saints grabbed the victory with a narrow 5-4 win.
Sihlangu Junior Aces secured their place in the last 64 when they beat Skhwahlane Sunny Boys 2-1, and Buffelspruit Juveniles played to a disappointingly goalless draw against Mandulo No Mistake – Juvenilies found the back of the net four times to win 4-2 on penalties.

escaped from Mawewe Shooting Stars with a 4-3 win.
2008 Selati Cup champions, Schoemansdal Junior Aces were all along favoured to win their encounter with Langeloop Happy Boys, and they did just that with a comprehensive 5-1 win.
The much-anticipated match of the day between Mashaba United and a star-studded National First Division development players Driekoppies Iraq, produced a satisfactory 1-0 victory for hometown favourites Mashaba United.

Schoemansdal High Eagles were up against a mountain when they played Steenbok Young Buffaloes to two-all during official play time, and went into penalty time where they had to find the back of the net 10 times to beat
Young Buffaloes narrowly by 10-9 on penalties.
Mbokodo Wanderers secured their spot in the last 64 with ease when they trashed Schoemansdal Liverpool
4-0, and last year’s second-placed Buffelspruit Home Boys were given an early show out of the tournament when they played Dludluma Albany City one-all, and lost 5-3 in the penalty shoot-out.
