Lowvelders dominate provincial equestrian championships team
After much anticipation, the adult riders who will represent Mpumalanga in the South African Showing Championships in Parys' Afridome in November, have been announced.

In what can only be described as a big feather in the cap of the Lowveld, the majority of the team members hail from home ground.
To top it off, these riders are not only home bred, but all of them hail from the same stable yard, Nottinghill Equestrian Centre and are trained by the same instructor, Kraai Kamffer.
The open (advanced) team comprises Kamffer riding her Belgium stallion Beach Haven On Track, Landé Willemse on the gelding Belton and Lydia Kapp on the stallion Varlet Ubermeister.
Mpumalanga also nominated a challenge team, comprising novice but up-and-coming riders and horses, to participate against the other eight provinces.
The members are Carine Marx on Katanga Look Forward, Natasha Whyte riding Brandenburg Special Assignment and Rochelle Riley riding
Brandenburg Sangiro, Jessica Kamffer on Africa’s Wizzbar and Marise de Bruto on Carel Hancke Summer Breeze.
