Dienkieland toddlers can play ball

Participants of the Playball programme received certificates and medals to show how hard they worked during they year.

Toddlers of Dienkieland Nursery School were rewarded for their achievements in the Playball sports programme on December 2.

Coach Elize le Roux was very proud of the children’s development throughout the year and handed out medals, certificates of accomplishment and a report on each one’s overall progress. Each child was also surprised with a packet of sweets.

Playball is a sport-and-development programme for kids and offers a multiskill programme consisting of sport activities, fundamental movement skills and games for children aged 2 to 8.  The programmes are age specific and include basic movement and sport skills as well as mini-games of sport like tennis, hockey and cricket.
