In preparation for the forthcoming hockey, netball and rugby leagues, Lowveld High School (LHS) and Hoërskool Barberton (BHS) played friendlies at LHS to sort out their team selections.

Barberton coach Dieter Marneweck said he was happy that his had team managed to put 10 points on the scoreboard.

“The past two years have not gone well for them so they don’t have a winning mentality. But we are working on it and they are improving.”

BHS u/15s won 38-0 and the u/14s won 24-5.
