Family fun on Summerhill Prep’s sports field
Parents and pupils of Summerhill Prep School competed on the soccer field and netbal courts during the school's annual interhouse sports fun day.
The Sunbirds and Loeries competed for house glory during Summerhill Prep’s annual interhouse sports fun day on June 6.
The event started off with the junior boys playing on the soccer field, while the girls hit the netball courts. The seniors then had their turn to grab victory in the two sports, before the parents and kids competed with and against each other in soccer and netball.
It was great fun and both the pupils and the adults enjoyed showing the other a thing or two on the field.
This annual event aims to bring families together, involve parents in the school and enable them to see how the children interact. The teachers also find it amazing to see the adults play with their kids and even how the two age groups compete.
