Golf course gets an island vibe
Grass skirts and leis aren't usually part of a golfer's outfit, but they were at the order of the day during the Guardian Angels' third annual fun golf day on September 18.
The Guardian Angels fun golf day was held at the White River Golf Club and both sponsors and players dressed in their island best.
The organisers would like to thanks all the sponsors that made the day possible, like SPAR DC which paid for the course and Saffer/WHD which sponsored most of the top prizes.
During the day’s auction, a total of R11 700 was raised in 30 minutes.
“We are very grateful for the support we received and want to thank the golfers for playing on the day. We look forward to next year’s golf day,” says Marcel van Doorn, Founder of Guardian Angels.
