Stadiums packed for thrilling Selati Cup matches
The KaMaqhekeza and the KaMhlushwa stadiums were packed on Sunday and Monday for the next round of the Selati Cup.
Supporters were entertained by a thrilling match between Block C Hungry Lions and KaMaqhekeza Rovers. It ended in a three-all scoreline after an impressive comeback during regulation time, and went on to be decided on penalties which Block C Hungry Lions won 3-0.
SAB KaMhlushwa Real Madrid put on a world-class performance when they trashed Masibekela Sundown’s with an outstanding 4-0. Real Madrid found the opening goal minutes after the game kicked off, and from there on they just keep flocking in.
Block C Young Aces sent Langeloop Arsenal back home with only one goal, and Young Aces defeated the visitors 5-1 in the third match of the day.
With the day starting off with impressive comebacks from teams who seemed to be defeated, things ended on the same note when Mzinti Young Waves managed to pull off a two-all comeback against Shando Real Aces.
Mzinti Young Waves succeeded 5-3 in the penalty shoot-out.
