CANSA geared up for coveted tourney
The Sanlam Cancer Challenge is the biggest amateur golf tournament in Africa and boasts more participants than the Comrades Marathon and Argus Cycle Tour, with about 40 000 players.
CANSA Lowveld recently announced the dates of the 24th annual Sanlam Cancer Challenge during a breakfast with stakeholders at Kokopelli.
The Sanlam Cancer Challenge is the biggest amateur golf tournament in Africa and boasts more participants than the Comrades Marathon and Argus Cycle Tour, with about 40 000 players.
The 2016 club competitions have already started and will run until July. In August and September, the regional finals will take place followed by the finals in October.
The winners will advance to the regional finals that will be played in Pilgrim’s Rest in August. The winner of this competition will advance to the final at Sun City in October this year. The first club competition will take place in Lydenburg on May 2.
