Penryn pupils dominate on field
Penryn's cross-country team recently traveled to Curro Nelspruit and once again excelled, with many of Penryn's pupils receiving podium finishes.
In other sport news, Mackenzie Bam competed in three Enduro Motor Bike Championships this year.
She placed first in Farm Jam, second in the T-bone National Enduro championship, and claimed the gold medal in the Gauteng Xcross Country Club.
Last week Penryn’s tennis stars took to the court to determine who would reign as champions of their school.
The A section boys’ doubles finals was great to watch and the girls’ doubles was an excellent final and an impressive standard of tennis.
The boys’ B doubles final was also a great match – all four boys played their hearts out. Owen Scorgie and Matthew Wright won in a tiebreak.
The mixed doubles final was won by Dylan Pappas and Nolizwi Mlangeni.
