LowMed runners rewarded for a positive 2019

LowMed Running Club is growing from strength to strength and the new year holds a few surprise in store for the runners

The cream of LowMed Running Club’s (LRC) runners were honoured at its first awards evening at Adega Restaurant last Wednesday. Gilda Mavromatis, the club’s vice-chairman, said they were looking forward to next year’s running season after the athletes put up a good showing this year.

As the glittering evening wore on, the athletes looked forward to being called up to the stage to receive their awards. Mavromatis said the fledgling club was established barely a year ago, but it is growing.
