Important information about SA vs NZ ticket sales
Supporters have been dying to get their hands on tickets.
Ever since the Castle Lager Rugby Championship match between the Springboks and the All Blacks in Mbombela was confirmed, supporters have been dying to get their hands on tickets.
But now, bogus ticket sellers are taking advantage of this urge and are trying to get their claws into potential ticket buyers.
Stay away, urged Pieter Burger, CEO of Mpumalanga Rugby Union. “I can assure you that we are doing everything in our power to get the tickets up for sale. But, until further notice, they aren’t available,” he said.

“It was with immense pride that the Mpumalanga Rugby Union announced that they are to host the Springbok and All Blacks Test at the iconic Mbombela Stadium on September 26 this year. We are busy finalising the public bowl seating prices and other hospitality offerings with SA Rugby and, once finalised, we will formally advise all when and through whom the tickets will be available to be purchased,” he said.
“Regrettably, we need to alert the public that no individual or entity has the authority yet to sell or reserve tickets to the match. There are fake messages out on Facebook and WhatsApp and these individuals or entities may face prosecution. Please wait until the Pumas make the formal announcement.” He added that they look forward to a well-run, enjoyable and sold-out experience.
“There is a great deal of excitement among our fans to watch the Springboks in action again in our own backyard and this year’s home schedule will give them just that. It will start with a farewell to DHL Newlands in the first Test against Scotland and a historic clash with Georgia before the defence of the Castle Lager Rugby Championship gets under way. We finish off by taking the All Blacks to the Lowveld for the very first time,” SA Rugby CEO, Jurie Roux had previously said.
