Uplands are kings at yearly festival

Hockey sticks, netbal and rugby balls, tennis rackets, horses and mountain bikes...

The Uplands Festival took place on Saturday and Sunday with lots of action on the school’s sport fields.

The rivals, Uplands and Penryn College had their annual.

The tennis, chess, netball and boys hockey kicked off on Friday and the following day the rugby, girls hockey, mountain bikers and horse riders took to the field.

Of the 22 games that were played, the home side won 22, lost seven and drew three. The Spur School Mountain Bike League started off on Saturday at 11:00 and some also took on the mountains on Sunday. About 200 riders participated in the Uplands Equestrian event.
