Curro’s cuties end term with fun day

The princes and princesses of Curro Castle Preprimary ended the third term on a high note.

On Wednesday all the kids participated in a sports fun day where they had an egg race, navigated their way through an obstacle course and enjoyed a good time with their parents and grandparents.

At the end of the fun-filled day they all received goodie bags to take home.

The u/7 and u/8 cricket boys recently participated in the Uplands Mini Cricket Festival.

They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and did exceptionally well in terms of the results. The u/11 XI cricket boys had yet another sterling performance by beating Laerskool Bergland by nine wickets.

Michiel Eksteen produced an outstanding bowling performance by taking 5/19 in six overs. Michiel then scored 31 not out with Hannes Feuth 23 also not out to wrap up the match for Curro.

The u/9 XI lost in the final over of their match against Bergland on Wednesday afternoon. It could’ve gone either way and the boys fought very hard.
