Lanies shine on the league greens

The schools league pits the best of the best school golfers against one another, and Malelane faired well in their division.

Laerskool Malelane’s winning streak this year continues, this time in the Lowveld Schools Golf League.

The team, made up of star golfers André de Kock, Helgard Meyer, Henno Radley, Henk de Kock, Antoiné Neethling and Nikita Radley, has been in great form this season. Most recently, they achieved an impressive second place in the last four rounds of the league.

Thanks to their determination and skills, the team advanced to the final, which took place on Monday, November 3 at White River Golf Club. They gave it their all but unfortunately just came up short of first place, walking away with the silver medal.

“We are incredibly proud of each player and their outstanding golf performances this season. Our Lanies are making their mark, both on and off the course,” the school said on social media.
