Get in the spirit of Christmas with music
The Lowveld Chamber Music Association will host a Christmas concert at the Penryn chapel with instruments like the piano and harp and solists, an ensamble and choir will perform.
It’s that special time of the year when we not only look forward to a much-needed vacation, but also to the magic of a Christmas celebration. To get in the mood of things, the Lowveld Chamber Music Association will host a Christmas concert at the Penryn chapel on Saturday November 16 at 19:00. They have drawn together a tremendous cast of talented performers, and you can expect double choirs, harp trios, piano duos, solo voices and incredible ensemble works.
The concert will be spearheaded by Theresa Prinsloo on piano and harp, as well as soprano Ena van den Berg and bass Markus Killian. Some international flair, with American mezzo soprano Mary Catherine-Moroney who will also perform. Apart from many other soloists, the choir from Curro and the Laudate ensemble will sing.
Tickets are R80 for adults and R20 for children u/18. The proceeds will benefit the local chapter of Alzheimer’s South Africa.
