The Lowveld is known for its various game parks, and picturesque panoramic landscape. Residents of the Lowveld pride themselves in the wildlife that roams the land, attracting many a tourist to come and meet in a place they call home.

Here are the lucky winners:

2nd Prize: R300 meal voucher from Wimpy Pretoriuskop goes to Elaine Jardim who takes second place for: Kruger National Park – 2014- the drinking giraffe.

3rd Prize: R200 meal voucher from Wimpy Pretoriuskop goes to Jacqueline Volschenk for the warthog family, who walks away with third prize!

How to enter?

All you need to do is to post your recent photos of wildlife taken at any game reserve in the Lowveld. Tell us when and where the photo was taken.

Where do I post my photos?

Post your photos on Corridor Gazette’s Facebook Page, or click here to be directed to the page.

…What will happen then?

All photos submitted of wildlife will be added into a photo gallery on this post.

How will winners be selected?

You are welcome to campaign for your photo(s) to generate more likes. The first five photos which generate the most Facebook ‘Likes’ on our page will be counted as the ‘Top Five”.

The judges’ will then select their top 3 winners in a lucky draw and the winners will walk away with:

1st Prize: R500 meal voucher from Lowver Sabie Mugg & Bean

2nd Prize: R300 meal voucher from Wimpy Pretoriuskop

3rd Prize: R200 meal voucher from Wimpy Pretoriuskop

The judge’s decision is final. Winners will be contacted by the competition organizers.

This competition starts July 15 and closes on Friday, August 31, 2014, at 12:00. Winners will be announced on the same day.

Prize collection:

The winners will have to collect the prizes from Corridor Gazette’s offices.  The winners will also be photographed for the Corridor Gazette newspaper and website.
