Fall for Len Muller’s new single
The song that features Joshua na die Reën, can be heard on radio stations nationwide.
Popular Afrikaans singer Len Muller’s new music video, Vir Die Een Wat Geval Het, was released this past weekend. This was announced by Starburst’s Alisha van Deventer today.
According to van Deventer, the song that features Joshua na die Reën, can already be heard on radio stations nationwide.
She said that the song has a lot of personal importance for the young singer. She quoted him: “It was created one morning after I’d had a terrible dream. I dreamt that I was at my own funeral. The undertaker was talking about scents and that we all leave behind a certain scent. I remembered staring at myself lying in the casket and I was wondering what my life had meant… That made me think about my legacy.”
When Len woke up the next morning, he had incidentally scheduled a writing session with his good friend, Jattie de Beer. The latter walked in that morning, sat at the piano and started playing the introduction to Vir Die Een Wat Gevan Het. According to Len, they wrote the song within two hours.

After Len released his debut album, Doodgewone Avontuur, in 2015, this talented young singer has been touring throughout South Africa and appears at virtually every festival in the country. His songs are regularly heard on radio stations and this young singer has enthusiasm and talent in equal measure.
He said about the music video for Vir Die Een Wat Geval Het: “The idea for the concept of the music video originated because of an experience I had a few years ago. I was in a serious car accident because of a friend who was driving drunk. I felt that I wanted to connect the song’s strong message to something that could make a difference in people’s lives. That made me realise that typing on your cellphone while you’re driving is just as bad as drunk driving, because you’re not only endangering your own life, but also the lives of the other people on the road.”
“I’m very guilty of that, but this song is about second chances and I try to portray it like that in the music video too.”
According to van Deventer, Len is creating a strong legacy in the music industry and all eyes and ears are on him while he is steadily making his mark as one of South Africa’s most popular young stars.
