Eight suspects between 25 and 44 years old were arrested in Anderson Street, Mbombela on Friday during an operation conducted by the Hawks in Mpumalanga together with the police K9 unit, the Department of Home Affairs and the Mbombela heath and traffic departments.

Four of the suspects were arrested for keeping a brothel and the others for illegal immigration from Malawi, Nigeria, Lesotho and Ethiopia.

The will all appear in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court on Monday June 12.
