The Lego Movie 2 Competition Rules

By entering this Competition and/or accepting any prize, all participants, entrants and/ or winners agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below applicable to this Competition (“Rules“).

You may not participate in this Competition if you do not agree to be bound by the Rules and if you enter this Competition or participate further in this Competition, doing so will be confirmation that you agree to these Rules.

Ster-Kinekor Theatres Pty Ltd and/or its agencies (collectively, the “Organisers”) may in their sole discretion amend these Rules at any time, without notice, and such amendment(s) shall be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication of the revised Rules on the Website. 

1.    The Competition’s promoter

The Competition’s promoter is Ster-Kinekor Theatres Pty Ltd a company with limited liability incorporated in accordance with the company laws of the Republic of South Africa (registration number 2018/482630/07) with its business address at Ster-Kinekor Office Park, 185 Katherine Street (Off Charles Crescent), Sandton.

Competition Period

1.1.    The Competition will commence on the 01st of March 2019 and will end on the 01st of April 2019 (“Competition Period“)

1.2.    No entries will be permitted after 23h59 on the 01st of April 2019;

1.3.    No entries received after the Competition closes will be considered and any entries received after this date will be rejected automatically.

2.    Eligible entrants

In order to be eligible for participation in this Competition, an entrant must:

2.1.    be willing to provide the Organisers with their personal information including, but not limited to, full name/s and surname, age, physical residential address and mobile telephone number;

2.2.    be in possession of a mobile cellular phone with a number and an email address duly registered in the name of the entrant, or the entrant’s legal guardian as the case may be; and

2.3.    undertake to abide by these Rules.

Each entrant represents and warrants that by entering in or participating in this Competition, he/she has full eligibility to do so.  The Organisers reserve the right to request proof that entrants have met any or all of these eligibility requirements.

3.    How To Participate

3.1.    To enter the Competition, and stand a chance of winning the prize, eligible entrants will be required to:

3.1.1.    Book to watch the movie, Lego Movie 2 releasing on the 01st March at any of our Ster-Kinekor Theatres cinemas, and

3.1.2.    Submit your reference ticket number via WhatsApp to 081 7282 888.

3.2.    There is no limit to the number of times entrants may enter the Competition during the Competition Period, however, the number of entries will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning any of the prizes as mentioned below in clause 4.1.

4.    Nature of Prize and Prize allocation

4.1.    Eligible entrants stand a chance of winning the following prize:

4.1.1.     The LEGO Movie 2 videogame PS4 hamper.

4.2.    The prize is non-transferable.

5.    Winners

5.1.    1 (one) winner will be randomly selected by electronic draw after the Competition Period.

5.2.    A winner will receive a LEGO Movie 2 videogame PS4 hamper.

5.3.    A random draw will take place at the offices of Ster-Kinekor Theatres Pty Ltd located at 185 Katherine Street, Eastgate, Extention 4, Sandton Johannesburg, on the 3rd  April 2019, after the Competition Period has closed.

5.4.    The winners will be notified by phone on the 3rd of April 2019 at 11:00 am.

5.5.    The prize winners will receive confirmation that they have won the prize via e-mail and by phone (provided a contact number has been provided) within three days of the competition being finished.

5.6.    Should the winner not redeem the prize within two (2) months of receiving notification thereof, they will forfeit the prize and a new winner may be selected in their place.

5.7.    The results of the draws will be audited by an independent Ster-Kinekor auditing team.
