Lady Zamar ready to get the Lowveld on their feet

She will be visiting this Friday.

Sultry songstress Lady Zamar, will be bringing The Golden Child Tour to the premier entertainment destination in the Lowveld, Emnotweni Arena on Friday, October 26.

With her velvety voice, she will be belting out songs from her debut album King Zamar, accompanied by her full band. Fans will undoubtedly be singing along to hits like Collide, My Baby, Love is Blind and El Diego to name but a few.

Not only will the performance be melodically pleasing but also visually stunning, Lady Zamar’s dance moves along with those of a ballet dancer will captivate the audience from beginning to end.

Born Yamikan Janet Banda, Lady Zamar burst onto the SA music scene in 2011 when she began working with Junior Taurus.

Her career really took off after the release of their collaborative album, Cotton Candy, in 2015. In addition to being nominated for a South African Music Award, this album showed her star power to the world which saw her lending her vocals to Prince Kaybee’s smash hit ‘Charlotte’.

Last year she released King Zamar, which was a hit with audiences and was nominated for two South African Music Awards of which she won Dane Album of the year.

Not one to rest on her laurels, Lady Zamar has been hard at work releasing smash-hit singles and collaborating with other artists.

“We are so excited to be bringing such a formidable talent to our property and eagerly await what is sure to be an epic performance,” says Emnotweni Complex General Manager, Adam MacIntyre.

Tickets are available from Computicket at a cost of R160 per person. Rewards members can save from 10%. The show starts at 20:00 and there will be time afterwards for autographs and pictures with the star herself.
