Chameleon songstress Andra entertains at The Pub

One of the most unique voices in the South African music industry performed at The Pub last Friday evening.

MBOMBELA – The talented Andra also visited The Pub earlier this year. Due to popular demand, the establishment, along with Small Town Music Blog, welcomed her back on stage.

“She is just a very unique soul and it is a pleasure to invite her back here and listen to her again,” Small Town Music Blog’s Marley van Wetten said.

With her soulful tone, colourful lyrics and brilliant spin on old classics, the songstress had the crowd singing along throughout the evening.

“We played really well tonight. It was like the atmosphere was great and you could see every single face in the audience which, at the end of the day, makes it all worthwhile,” Andra said, also complimenting the new stage.

She said that for her the best part of visiting the city is its people. “They are phenomenal, warm, welcoming and honest people. I just love it.”

Andra still has a few gigs left for the year, after which she plans to go back to her home town in Namibia and spend the holiday season on the beach.
