Local lass is a Mrs Tourism Globe finalist

“I see myself winning the crown and representing my country globally. I will continue doing charity work in my communities and be a perfect example to the youth and kids in Tubatse.”

BURGERSFORT- Local beauty Bridget Malatji (28), would be representing Limpopo in  the Mrs Tourism Globe pageant.

The lady from Taung village confirmed to Steelburger/Lydenburg News that she is a finalist in the competition. Even though it’s for the first time she competes in beauty pageants. Bridget is determined to bring the crown to Tubatse.

 

She said this pageant is not just about beauty, it is about uplifting the community and women who want to make a difference.

“This is a six month journey, we started with the preparations back in 2020 and the crowning will take place in Durban next month. The winner will represent South Africa in the Mrs Tourism International in Philippines later this year.” She said the journey into the competition has been inspiring and motivating to her.

“In December, I met fellow finalist who are vibrant and we share similar passion of travelling, giving back to our communities and empowering other women.”

The kind hearted and confident lady said she has participated in various charities previously.

“I see myself winning the crown and representing my country globally. I will continue doing charity work in my communities and be a perfect example to the youth and kids in Tubatse.”

Malatji  thanked her family and locals for the support. She  also doubles as a  business woman, who sells beauty products and perfumes at Inuka
