Soccer fans everywhere urged to get vaccinated

Sekhukhune United have joined the fight against Covid-19. The team embarked on a vaccination drive on Monday.
The mass vaccination comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa’s call on Thursday.

Players, technical team and staff members participated in this drive to ensure the safety of all members and those associated with the club “As the country has been moved to adjusted level 1, we still need to follow the Covid-19 protocols, which include sanitising, screening and wearing masks. As a club, we also wish to emphasise the call that has been made by the chairperson of the Premier Soccer League for the nation to vaccinate.

Sekhukhune United’s manager, Phineas Madisha, was among those who took the jab. “For me it is to encourage our players and the technical team to get vaccinated. Let’s vaccinate and make sure that we all return to play. I urge everyone to go out and get vaccinated so that we can get the fans back in the stadiums,” said Madisha.
