Nkwana Foundation donates to needy family
Nkwana has previously donated to more than 50 families in Fetakgomo Tubatse.
BURGERSFORT – After the Mkhondo family watched in disbelief when their shack recently burned to ashes, they
pleaded for assistance from locals.
The family was on cloud nine when a teenager, Boitshepo Nkwana of the Nkwana Foundation, entered their yard to hand over groceries on Friday.

“He had maize meal, rice, flour, candles, toilet rolls and many more basic items. We expected someone a bit older
to assist us, but we were a bit surprised when the young man emerged. We are grateful for what he has donated to us. He indeed has a good heart,” said Tshepo Mkhondo.
Nkwana has previously donated to more than 50 families in Fetakgomo Tubatse.
“I registered the Nkwana Foundation when I was just 15 years old. It is growing and continues to assist the needy.
The foundation aims to change lives and to make a difference in communities,” he told Steelburger/Lydenburg News.
The Mkhondo family lost all their belongings in the fire.
“The children’s school uniforms and books also burned inside the shack. We are pleading for donations from
Good Samaritans. My husband and I are unemployed. We had previously applied for a RDP house, but we were ignored. We pray for help from locals,” the family said.
