Hive of activity at Lydenburg Fly-In Festival

The aerobatic aerial display wowed visitors.

The Fly-In Festival on Saturday September 10 was a huge success and once again not your ordinary run-of-the-mill event.
It was hosted by all the members of the Lydenburg Flying Club, also known as Fall Lydenburg Legends.
The aerobatic aerial display by the Goodyear Eagles team wowed visitors.
While festival-goers browsed through a variety of stalls, hockey games were played, and go-kart racing and a children’s theme park kept even the young at heart busy.

Businesses and homemade craft stalls set up shop in front of the airport hangars. There was not a shortage of live music and bands that performed during the evening.

One of the main fun activities was a helicopter ride in a Robinson R44, taking visitors on a flight over the scenic Lydenburg.
The organisers would like to thank all the aircraft, businesses and residents who supported the successful event.
