Municipality’s TLB found abandoned in bush
A resident who spotted the machine hidden in the bushes, said he suspected foul play.
The Tubatse SAPS is hard at work with investigations on the Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality’s TLB, which was recovered from the bushes between Mabotsha and Ga-Makofane on November 3.
The equipment was allegedly hijacked during the night of November 2 in Praktiseer. It was recovered by community members from Mabotsha.
One of the residents who spotted the machine hidden in the bushes, said they suspected foul play.
“When we saw the machine, we immediately called the SAPS. They came along with the TSS security and a tracking company. The TLB was not damaged and was still in good condition. It was seized by the SAPS after we notified them,” said the community member.
Meanwhile, the Tubatse SAPS appealed to community members to assist with information on the alleged hijackers.
