Eskom announces stage 6 loadshedding.

Stage 6 load-shedding has been implemented from 12:00 today, December 7, until further notice.

According to Eskom’s spokesperson, Sikonathi Mantshantsha, this is due to a high number of breakdowns since midnight last night as well as the requirement to strictly preserve the remaining emergency generation reserves.
