The Agri Expo was held at The Ranch Hotel in Polokwane on March 13.

The Limpopo premier, Dr Phophi Ramathuba, said farming is not just an occupation, it is a lifeline and a culture, and the backbone of the provincial economy.
Ramathuba was speaking at the Agri Expo held at The Ranch Hotel in Polokwane on March 13.
Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine (DCM), in collaboration with the Ngwaabe Department of Agriculture and Land Reform, sent 15 farmers to the event.
The objective of the agricultural expo was to provide a comprehensive platform for industry stakeholders to showcase innovations, exchange knowledge and foster collaboration. It aimed to promote sustainable practices and drive growth across the agricultural sectors.

The 15 farmers were accompanied by DCM officials, Mamagase Nchabeleng and Majaletje Mathume, and some officials from the Ngwaabe agriculture office.
The farmers visited the exhibitions of industry experts.

Farmers, manufacturers, service providers, private sector stakeholders and government representatives helped foster collaboration, innovation, and growth within the agri sector within the province.
The farmers appreciated that the mine afforded them an opportunity to explore the various aspects of farming on display at the expo.
