After the official opening of Fern Valley Spur May 6, Komatipoort residents will finally be able to enjoy the wonders of a Spur without having to travel far.
For a long time Komatipoort residents have yearned for a Spur to open in the ever-expanding Onderberg town. Locals Chris, Alicia Coetzee and Pieter van Zyl, the three franchisees of the restaurant, came to the rescue. The Coetzees are long-established local business people, as they own other businesses around town too.
Van Zyl boasts a decade of experience within the Spur franchise. Having started working at Spur in Klerksdorp, he has gone on to work at Spur restaurants in Potchefstroom, Pretoria and Malalane. He will now be the general manager of Fern Valley Spur and is excited for the journey ahead.

Fern Valley Spur, situated at 1 Bourhill Street, is open seven days a week: 08:00 to 21:00 from Mondays to Thursday, 08:00 to 22:00 on Fridays and Saturdays and 08:00 to 20:00 on Sundays.
